How Your Burning Desire Can Save Your Life

In order to get out of something you hate you must use your strong emotions to get out of it. There are some strong emotions that can develop a sense of urgency and we will discuss and go through a few here. Learning how to channel your emotions and using it, as fuel to reach your full potential is the right way to process your emotions. Most people that don’t know how to use their emotions actually let their emotions use them. They don’t know how to process it so instead they suppress it. This is the most common way to deal with emotions, however if you look behind every suppressed emotion you will find that there is an addiction that fills that void. This addiction can be alcohol, drugs, pornography, gambling, and over eating. This is just masking the symptoms of these powerful emotions. This behaviour creates a lot of over intemperance with habits that are destructive to your creativity and life force. School doesn’t teach you how to harness your emotions or how to use them and that is going to change now. I am going to share some techniques with you that will alter your emotions to move in a positive direction. Emotion is an energy that moves in a motion that should be expressed in the right channel and not suppressed.

This is one of the most powerful emotions we have and we need to learn how to harmonize this into our passion and purpose. When someone tells you that you can’t do this, you don’t have what it takes, you’re too dumb or you’re not good enough to be in that position. You are now faced with an intense emotion and you have 2 choices to make here. Either you can suppress this emotion by escaping from yourself or you can face this emotion by using it as energy and fuel to do the impossible.

When I am faced with anger I get out of my own way and use my energy to challenge my body at the gym or challenge my mind to write or record something unique. I would do this for hours until my anger is depleted. Learning how to manage energy is an underrated commodity and the rich use this commodity to produce a successful day.

Frustration is often caused by goals that are not achieved; deadlines that are not met or seeing no results after the work has been done. This is when most people quit and give up on their small progress. A common thing we see is when someone tries to get in shape for 2 weeks and throws in the towel after seeing little or no results. So the questions here is how can we turn frustration into results. First we need to celebrate the small progress and accomplishments we made if we are going to stay on track. Secondly we need to be realistic with reality and know that what got us here won’t get us there. I do believe in thinking wildly different but reality says I can’t undo 10 years of eating Big Mac’s and get the body I want in 2 weeks. You must respect and trust the process because an over night success is a result of a long-term compound effect from small choices repeated everyday.

I once heard Jim Rohn say you must turn your frustration into fascination. Like most this statement confused me. What I took from it was to be fascinated each time I got frustrated with life. What I understood from this approach was to embrace the odds that are stacked against me and keep moving forward until I win. Next time you get frustrated with something I want you to try and use this approach and see what you become in any unfavorable situation you may encounter.

“Desperation is a call to creative actions”

When we get desperate to have something in our lives we often do crazy things to get it. We can channel this crazy emotion into our creative genius.

Eric Thomas has a famous quote that describes what desperation can do for someone. He says “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe you will find a way to succeed” The notion of this quote is so powerful because when your air or oxygen is cut off completely the only thing you can think of is finding a way to breathe and expand those lungs and you will do anything for it.

Desperation can get you out of bed early, it can push you to new limits, it can help you find a solution to a big problem and it can get you out of your comfort zone.

Most of us are disgusted with where we are at in our current lives and this has a lot to do with not reaching our full potential. Disgust can come from a man who is 30 years old living in his mom’s basement, it can come from a job that doesn’t feed your kids or it can be the disgust you have with how your body looks. The best thing about disgust is that in most cases it’s enough to change the course of someone’s life 180 degrees forever.

When someone says I’ve had it and enough is enough they have come to a point where they are willing to burn bridges and never look back. This can mean never having to ask someone for anything again or never being told what to do again. Disgust kills your excuses and takes action on a new life.

Pain comes in different shades and it affects us all if we don’t know how to use its resilience. Our perception has a lot to do with how this emotion is going to turn out and in order to see what we must go through we have to understand there is a lot of growth and joy on the other side. Without pain we wouldn’t know what joy feels like and we must go through a process of painful events to make us who we are meant to be in this life. There is no growth without pain and there is no better teacher than pain it’s self. When we experience pain we think life is our enemy and the only one that is playing out the enemy is the one between your ears. Take a deep look at your life right now and ask yourself would you be who you are today if it wasn’t for pain?

Would you be as naive as you use to be? Would you be as strong as you are right now? Would you be easily manipulated or mislead?

If you answered No to all of the questions above then you have to thank pain for it.

My wife and i got absolutely thrilled when Ervin managed to carry out his research because of the precious recommendations he got using your site. It is now and again perplexing to simply continually be giving for free secrets and techniques which usually the others have been making money from. And we also keep in mind we need you to give thanks to for that. The most important explanations you’ve made, the easy website navigation, the relationships you aid to promote – it is all astounding, and it is making our son and the family recognize that the matter is entertaining, and that’s extraordinarily fundamental. Thanks for all the pieces!
