How To Diversify Your Confidence



Most people don’t know how to maintain their confidence but after reading this article you will have a much better understanding on how to keep and protect what is yours.

What you deposit in your day is either hurting or helping your confidence. Lets identify some areas that can help or hurt your confidence.


Your diet can be overlooked when it comes to how you feel and since what you eat dictates how you feel then one would agree that confidence comes from a mental state. Food can be either medicine or poison and eating the wrong food can cloud the mind and rob the body of vital energy. Just the guilt alone around eating junk food takes the certainty away from life. If you feel fat, sluggish or just plain terrible about yourself then the self-image withdraws confidence from the day.

Before starting your day be conscious about what you consume especially if it’s tied down to your confidence. Eat for energy and eat for a supreme confidence that can be acquired through an unshakeable self-image. Confidence relies on how you feel and how you feel relies on what you eat.



This goes along with your self-image and once again when you feel great about how you look it helps you become more confident. Our body is designed to stay active. What I have noticed with people who don’t seem to exercise at all is depression, anxiety and a weak self-image. The body will find away to try and release some of its tension through anxiety and frustration. One clear sign of excessive energy is when a person is clicking there pen not knowing there doing it. Another form of excessive energy is when a person is seated and one of their legs start shaking consistently. This behaviour is a build up of energy that has not been released through any physical activity.

We all experience a calming effect after any physical exercise and this has a lot to do with our nervous system and brain chemistry. I am not going to go science on your ass but I will illustrate some important things that make you feel good after exercising. Some of the happy brain chemicals that alter your mood are serotonin, dopamine and endorphins. With all the oxygen that your brain is receiving from exercising, your brain releases these happy chemicals. This is why science believes that exercising is an anti-depressant.

I use to be afraid of going to the gym at one point. I felt like everyone was watching me workout until I realized that people are just sizing each other up. We all know that the gym is full of ego but something happened when I showed up at the gym consistently. I got in shape and I was inspired by my own results. I then started walking in the gym like I owned it and was no longer intimidated. This had to be confidence because I was proud of how my body looked.

Financial health


This is another area that needs serious attention because when you have low funds in your account and your living one paycheque away from being broke or being homeless you are always creating an uncertainty feeling in your life. Remember that confidence is feeling certain about outcomes and certainty gives you more control over your life. Putting yourself in a weak financial position is only hurting your confidence.

Most people would say money is not important but that only comes from broke people. Money is very important in the areas of life that contribute to freedom and resources. Just imagine if you had this one area of your life controlled and you had a lot of money in your account right now. Would you feel more confident and certain about what you could do with your life right now? Of course you would. Having money is the difference between staying at your job and leaving without worrying what’s going to happen next. The more money you have the more options and choices you have. For those who still have a limited belief that money is the root of all evil just remember that you can never help the poor by being one of them.


A relationship can take or give and it must seek balance to make it work. Having great relationships with people not only helps your confidence but it also contributes to happiness. When you are admired and respected by people you have great relationships with, you feel a sense of being connected with the world. The way I create great relationships is by coming from a place of giving and not expecting anything in return. An example would be the Sun that gives light to every planet no matter what. Can you imagine if the Sun gave light whenever it felt like it, one thing is for certain I wouldn’t be here typing this right now. People tell me that I am a very likeable respected guy and when it comes to asking for opinions I am the one they tend to look to. So how do people categories me in this image? Well its because I respect my self and I listen to people. Empathy and self-respect has helped me in my social life. When you can take care of yourself others know that you can take care of them. When someone is talking to me I get out of my head and give my full attention to the other person that is speaking and when the person feels understood you make them feel important and that is what draws people to you.

Another thing I do to maintain my trust in a relationship is that I guard my reputation no matter what.

Starting from today no matter what do the things I talked about in diversifying your confidence and you will instantly develop supreme confidence over your life. The way to protect your confidence is by not putting it all in one basket its to diversify it so when you lose in one you have the others to bring you back to where you need to be. We need more confident people today more then anything because a lot of people don’t have certainty in their lives.

Find out what makes you feel good and make it a habit to commit to it.
